Enter the starting balance, the maximum drawdown, how your firm measures it, and the balance at the end of each day. The calculator prints where the floor sits after each day, how much room is left, and the first day a balance reaches the floor.

The working
A static drawdown sets the floor once, at the starting balance minus the allowed loss, and leaves it there. A trailing drawdown measures from the highest balance the account has reached, so every new high lifts the floor by the same amount. Many firms stop the trail once the floor reaches the starting balance, after which the account can never be pushed below where it began. The trailing drawdown entry works through all three.
The difference shows up in the room column. On a static account, profit adds room. On a trailing one, profit moves the floor up with it, so room never grows past the drawdown figure, and any profit given back comes straight out of it. An intraday trailing drawdown punishes giving back profit shows why that changes how to manage a winning trade.
Firms define these rules in their own words: whether the trail uses closing or intraday balances, whether a touch of the floor counts as a breach, and when the trail stops. Copy the definition from your firm's rule page before entering numbers, then use the table to see how much room each planned trade actually has. How prop firm evaluations work covers the rest of a typical rule set.
Enter the highest balance each day reached, including open profit, in place of the closing balance, and the floor it prints is the intraday version. Firms that trail intraday raise the floor from those peaks even when the trade closes lower.
The calculator marks a breach when a balance reaches or falls below the floor. Firms word this differently, and some count open losses during the day, so the exact line is in your firm's rules.
No. A daily loss limit is a separate rule measured within one day. Check it on its own; the glossary entry on daily loss limits works an example.
